Hi. My name is Tony and I blog about open source software. I attended the University of Georgia where I studied finance and mathematics. After school, I discovered my passion for software engineering and have been working on projects ever since. I’m mostly self taught, but I’ve had a lot of help and support from friends and from the community of open source developers who publish blogs like this one. I decided to start writing about software engineering to keep track of the new things I’m learning, promote the projects I’m working on, and to help out anybody who is doing similar stuff.
I manage and contribute to various open source projects on Github, doing bugfixes, writing documentation, and implementing features. I’m particularly active on the i3 window manager project where I admin the bug tracker.
In my spare time, I like to listen to indie rock, read science fiction novels from the 1970’s, and I am a superfan of the tv show Saturday Night Live.
So enjoy the blog. If you have any feedback or inquiries, send mail to email@example.com.
